Heather Childers

  Heather Star Childers is an American anchor on the television news channel. Formerly anchor of Fox & Friends First on Fox News Channel's 1st hour, she was employed by the network from 2010 to 2020. She currently co-anchors American Agenda on News max TV. Childers was born in Hartsville in South Carolina and grew up near Charlotte, North Carolina. Her graduation was in 1987 at Myers Park High School. Childers graduated from the Myers Park High School in 1987. Childers began her career with WCNC-TV in Charlotte as reporter and producer in the early 1990s. She worked for news television stations in Albany, Georgia and then Asheville, North Carolina, at WLOS as the ABC affiliate in the area. As anchor she joined News 14 Carolina as a reporter in 2002. Childers worked as a reporter at Fox News Channel from November 2010 until she was appointed anchor at America's News Headquarters August 2011. Then, she became an early morning host at Fox beginning in 2017, she hosted the very first episode of Fox & Friends First, from 4:00 to 5:00 a.m. Childers shared a Twitter hyperlink to an article from a website known as a fringe one that promotes "birther conspiracy theories" in April 2012. The article suggested that the Barack Obama campaign could have affected Chelsea Clinton's life had Clintons discussed "Obama’s birth certificate (or lack thereof)".
